Birthday Weekend!!!

Well I have decided its time I should write in my blog again! I have to appologize that you don't get many blog updates from me. I've said in the past that I need to be better at it but I have realized that if I were to write something each day it would most likely say the same things. So I have decided that I will blog when I can think of something that's worth blogging about, otherwise you would just always here that Brad and I work alot! And perhaps, I really could think of something different each day but for the most part that's all we do for now. We should be getting back in to school this summer/fall so maybe there will be more to blog about then. So anyways this last saturday was my birthday! I had ALOT of fun!!! We left on friday and went down to my parents house in South Jordan. We picked my mom up from work, went home got my dad and went out to eat to SMASH Burger!!! The BEST burger place EVER!!! It really has ruined me...I really can't stand the thought of going to any other burger place...it just isnt the same. I would HIGHLY reccomend going their to ANYONE!!! BUT if you decide to go just a WARNING you will never want to go to Wendy's, McDonald's (yuck), Artic Circle etc. agian. Then after we ate there, we went to a movie that I have been wanting to see long before it came out. We went and saw the "Last Song". It was SOOOO good! I cried towards the end though....but that is to be expected with a Nicholas Sparks movie/book. Then Sat. I got to SLEEP IN!!! Which is my favorite thing to do! Especially since I dont get to do that much with the job that I have! Then we went to a donut shop for breakfast! Then I wanted to head down town and go to the Gateway, SLC Temple, and see the Joseph Smith Movie again. At the Gateway we had to stop in at the Apple store because if you know my Sweet Husband you know that he LOVES APPLE anything and so we had to go check out the new ipad. Which I have to say that it is PRETTY cool and wouldn't mind having one of those one day! He also had to stop in their for my birthday gift he was getting me. He got me a TomTom car kit for my iphone so I can listen to my music in my car/GPS while I am going from patient to patient for work! He's such a cutie! I love Him SOOOO Much!!! Then we went to the temple for a LIVE session! I got married in the SL Temple but I have never done a temple session there and had never done a LIVE session either! What an AWESOME experience! I SURE LOVE OLD PEOPLE!!! My heart just smiled to see those old people act out the parts instead of watching the movie! Then after that we went to see the Joseph Smith Movie! I could watch that movie over and over and never get sick of it! I sure have a love for Joseph Smith! I know that what he did is true! I forgot to mention that we went out to eat to Macaroni Grill after the Gateway, before my dad had to head to Logan to work. Macaroni Grill was really good! I had been there a couple times but I couldn't remember if I had liked it or not....but it was well worth it! Then we went home and I talked to my brother on the phone and headed to bed! I was SOOOO tired! That was an eventfull day, but it was SOSOO great too!!!! Sunday morning we went to my parents ward and then my dad made me Homemade Chicken Noodle Soup, I LOVE HIS CHICKEN NOODLE SOUP!!!! We cleaned up and then headed home to go to Brad's parents house because it was Colton's birthday (Brad's lil' brother). So all in all we had a great weekend!!! It was good to see my Mom! I don't get to see her as much. Well that's all I have to blog about for now!

Wow life just flies by.....

Hey everyone! Ok, so I am REALLY bad at this blogging thing but we finally got internet again so hopefully I can remember to blog more. Alot has gone on in the last few months. Brad and I moved to Wellsville just before Christmas! We LOVE our apartment! Most people ask why in the world did we move clear out there? Well we have many reasons! We found a really good deal!!! Its a three bedroom apt. We could have daisy and Utilites and washer and dryer were included and it is an UPSTAIRS apt! What more could you ask for? We have lived here just over a month and that seems like its gone by so fast. The holidays were crazy with moving and celebrating and working but we managed to make it all work. I think we are finally getting settled. I still have a few things to get the way I want them but for the most part we are basically settled. Our Christmas was a good one this year! I got a cricut expression and Brad got an Iphone docking station! We also splurged after Christmas with the money we got from family and got ourselves a Wii! We have had so much fun with that! Other than that, our life is about the same. I work full time with Access Home Care & Hospice and Brad is also working full time with Thermofisher. He plans to attend school next semester and I might start up soon too, with my online program. Hope you all had great holidays and everything is going well for you!

Peach Days!!!

This last weekend was a FUN weekend, even though I was scheduled to work! Brad & I decided to go to Peach Days over in Brigham City since Jon Schmidt was playing (free concert) and there was going to be a hypnotist show afterwards! We thought that would be really fun!

I was scheduled to work in Brigham City early Sat morning and had extra time in between seeing patients so I thought, "What in the world am I going to do with my self in for the next 2 1/2 hours in Brigham City?" Well luckly I found out that Peach Days, their city celebration/fair was going on! I have been to Peach Days before and thought it was fun!

So I went over there and worked in the morning until the late afternoon, then came home for about a half hour and then we headed over to Brigham City again to see the shows! We went with some friends, my mother-in-law and sister-in-law! Daisy even came with us too! She had a BLAST! At first, she didn't know what to think everything especially all the noises but she got used to it quickly!

We had planned to leave really early so that we could get some good seats since it was a free concert! But we didnt get there as early as we had planned...we hadn't planned when we were going to leave until just after I had gotten home from work and therefore we told our friends kinda last minute...but we still had ALOT of fun! Or at least it did:)

Before we got there we hadn't eaten dinner yet so we stopped at Maddox drive thru which was a ZOO! (we should have thought of that since Peach Days was going on) but the food was tasty as it always is, so it was worth the wait! Then we took our food and ate it there at the concert! We were in the far back. We couldn't hear him very well...which was kinda sad because of the blow up toys and their generators that were nearby and SO loud...but what do expect when the concert is free and EVERYONE and their dog (and yes there really were dogs!) were there and we got there late. But like I said before it was a blast! Aaron and Ashlee, Annette, Brad & I, and my sis-in-law and mother-in-law still enjoyed it!

After the concert Aaron and Ashlee went home and the rest of us stayed for the hypnotist! He was great! I was laughing so hard! I haven't laughed that hard in a long time! It got a little chilly and Daisy climbed, more like burrowed under the blaket and was sound asleep by the time the hypnotist started. Needless to say, we had a great weekend!

Well that's all for now! I'm not that great of a blogger and hopefully, one day, I will get some pic's posted so my blog isn't so boring! Well hope you enjoyed reading...sorry if it was boring! Talk to you another time!
